As an apprentice, you will learn to:
- Evaluate and diagnose home appliance problems
- Estimate the costs of appliance repair, service, and installation
- Repair appliances
- Provide preventative maintenance and warranty services
- Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Trade school certification preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Excellent customer service skills
In this role, you will travel to customers’ homes and businesses and learn to diagnose and repair their existing appliances. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has the capacity to learn mechanical and technical skills to get the job done. Customer satisfaction is a top priority.
